Turquois, Brown & Pink - Pastel Colors

What do you think about the accessories I've drawn on her legs? It would be so good to have these accessories if you have pants that are too short and heels that aren't high enough so you could hide the skin between it. I think it should be a new trend. What's your opinion?

Natalie Portman - Dior

This drawing should actually portrait Natalie Portman in her Ad for Dior.

But I think the result looks more like a mixture of her and Megan Fox. 

What do you think? Who does the lady in the drawing resemble?

A la mode wearhouse

New header design for: A la mode wearhouse

I've chosen this outfit with the polka dots and with the bright red color 

to draw some attention to the header. 

There are many other wonderful outfits on her blog.

The outfits are combinations of bright colors, different patterns and beautiful accessories.

But I have to warn you. Once you start to scroll you can't stop! :D 

I realized that many people think my art is very realistic and they often can't believe that the pictures on my blog are drawings. So from now on I will always take screenshots while I'm working, so you can see the single steps. 

Oh, and what you might have seen I am signing my pictures from now on, so nobody can claim that they are theirs. But for commissions you get the one without the sign of course !

2012 - Pastel colors

Don't you just love pastel colors ? 

I love them a lot, because they are so flattering.

They look so soft and sunny :) 

I'm so glad that it's still a trend 2012, I couldn't get enough of it last year! 

I am currently working on a header design for a blog :)

I won't tell you which one it is yet, but I promise, it is a great one! 

I will post the header design as soon as it is finished and also give you a link to the blog.

What have I been up to? Why didn't I post anything for such a long time?

I have been working on an artwork for a good friend of mine, which was really big and I wanted to fully concentrate on it & now that I've finished it I am going to draw more for my blog again.

 I made these two drawings tonight with Gouache on watercolor paper. It's great to work with this paint, because you can variate the stroke of the brush so much depending on how much paint or water you use. I hope that I managed to show this in both drawings. I am going to make more drawings with this technique, because it's really fun! What I love so much about drawing faces is that each time you capture the feelings of the moment in the expression of the face. 

The girl on the left side looks like she's pulling back her head and like she'd say: What's your problem? And the girl on the right looks bored, tired and irritated at the same time.

 I love both of them and I hope that I can create much more drawings with interesting facial expressions.

Drawing process

Sometimes when I work on drawings I take screenshots. Here are the ones I made when I was drawing for Mollie! The last one is the final .jpg picture that's why the colors are so different.
I'm working on my website www.ordodi.com. It is going to have a completely new look and I want it to be more up to date. you will find all the important things about commission there too. At the moment I am not accepting requests for drawings since so many people asked and I have a lot of other stuff to do. Hope you enjoy this post. I'll be back with new drawings soon!
